Vacation Rental Regulations & Resources | Towns Across Summit County
Ski towns within Summit county are contemplating or have already made recent decisions concerning short-term, vacation rental regulations. The state of Colorado has also contemplated changes to vacation rental taxes.
The Summit Daily Newspaper is a resource for local stories following these issues across these Summit County communities. The Summit Daily provides an easy to access, online edition of the local paper and a Facebook page that anyone can follow and subscribe to from afar. You can also read and submit Letters to the Editor and share comments on their Facebook pages in response to stories, as another mode of sharing your voice on these issues.
Local towns and the county government also publish regular meetings, agendas and meeting minutes on their respective government websites as well. Typically, anyone in the public can attend via zoom or in person.
