Keystone

It’s obvious why people come to Keystone – to ski! Keystone Ski Resort was founded by Max and Edna Dercum in 1970. Their idea of fun was skiing with family and friends in the beautiful Summit County, Colorado. The Keystone Science School provides wonderful programs for children year-round. Keystone Ski Resort’s “Kidtopia” also provides kid-friendly catered skiing experiences, in addition to the more challenging terrain for all skill levels. There is glade skiing on North Peak and Snowcat skiing in the Outback. Keystone’s A51 Terrain Park was ranked in Transworld Snowboarding’s Top Ten Terrain Parks. For those who still can’t get enough, Keystone provides night skiing under the stars, too!

Keystone is a mountain town in Summit County, Colorado with something for everyone all year-round. Keystone Ski Resort is part of the Vail Resorts Epic Pass and it is conveniently located about an hour from Denver via I-70. Once you reach Keystone, you will be pleased to see that most amenities are self-contained, and you can stroll about the River Run Village for all of your skiing, shopping and dining needs.

Many guests stay in one of Keystone’s two villages while others stay in accommodations available in the nearby towns of Dillon, Silverthorne, and Frisco.

Keystone has an outdoor ice skating rink located in the Mountain House base area. Keystone also has a wonderful Nordic center with miles of trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. In the evening, sleigh rides are available complete with an elegant dinner. For a unique dining experience, take the gondola to the top of the mountain and indulge in gourmet cuisine and fondue.

Summertime in Keystone means world-class golf courses, horseback riding and lots of biking, both up and down the mountain. After a morning packed with activities, relax and treat yourself to a massage or facial in one of Keystone’s luxurious day spas. In the afternoons and evenings, summer visitors love to stroll throughout the village, stopping in boutiques and bars, sipping drinks on restaurant patios, taking in the mountain resort.

Keystone is the perfect place to enjoy all that the Colorado Rocky Mountains have to offer in a full-service resort setting.
