Goggle Tans Extended at Summit Ski Resorts
Goggle tans and deck parties at the chalet are just going to take a little more time this season. This year, no one wants to stop skiing – every ski resort across Summit County is basking in sunrays on the snow. In traditional style, A-Basin is anticipated to be the victor with the longest closing day in early June, but nothing official has yet been announced. Breckenridge is experiencing one of its longest resort openings through Memorial Day weekend, which is literally and figuratively, far out!
Another great thing about the longer ski season is that with more options at the resorts, this helps keep some riders away from harm in the backcountry. In Summit County, you can crush powder turns right up until it’s time to hike it or bike it!
Here is the list of this season’s upcoming closing and still going, resort dates:
- Breckenridge – May 31
- Copper Mountain – April 25
- Vail – April 18
- Beaver Creek – April 11
- Keystone – April 11
