Copper Mountain Colorado real estate offers a wonderful year-round recreation haven. Located only seven miles from our Frisco real estate offices, the Copper Mountain Ski Resort is known for excellent skiing and a growing selection of Colorado Rocky Mountain homes for sale in western Summit County. Preferred by locals, Copper Mountain is also home to the US Ski Team Speed Center.
In addition to ski condominiums at Copper Mountain, the community features duplexes, townhomes, single-family homes, vacant land, home sites, and golf course homes, and ranches at modest prices to Summit County homebuyers and investors.
Copper Mountain is comprised of three villages including Center Village, Union Creek, and East Village. The majority of real estate in Copper Mountain is in the main Center Village, which is located at the base of the Flyer and Eagle chairlifts. This bustling village offers shops and restaurants, outdoor activities, festivals, events, and entertainment—weekend fire dancers, for example.
Tucker Mountain Lodge, Taylor’s Crossing at Ten Mile Creek, The Mill Club, Passage Point and other complexes at the main village are a few steps away from all the action. Ice skaters may appreciate condominiums near West Lake; skiers and snowboarders may prefer ski-in/ski-out condominiums directly on the runs. A number of the complexes offer property management services and lock-off units.
Union Creek is located on the west side of Copper Mountain’s main village near the beginner ski runs and Schoolhouse. This family-friendly area is unique because it offers exclusive single-family homes, townhomes, and larger home sites. Possibilities in Union Creek include The Cirque, Union Creek Townhomes, and The Cache. These neighborhoods also have access to miles of trails through the forest.
One of the largest neighborhoods on the west end is the exclusive Lewis Ranch master-planned community adjacent to the ski area. Lewis Ranch features a variety of trail systems for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing through forested terrain, meadowland, and wetlands.
Golfers prefer the East Village, location of the Copper Creek Golf Course. The golf course passes through the pine trees past lakes and rivers before touring the remains of an old mining town for a world-class golfing challenge. The Super Bee lift serves this area. East Village features a plaza with shops and eateries. Complexes such as Copper Springs Lodge feature hot tubs and fitness rooms.
The ski area features 125 trails with beginner trails in the west, intermediate in the center, and advanced and back bowl options on the east and up to Tucker Mountain. There are also numerous other areas including terrain parks, jumps, kickers, half pipes, and kidz zones.
Copper Mountain properties and visitors are served by the shuttle services that connect to all of the Summit County mountain towns and ski villages including Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone, Silverthorne, and Lake Dillon.
